These splendid antique 18ct Gold on Pinchbeck drop earrings are Victorian Circa 1870.
Each earring is engraved beautifully and displays a fabulous Emerald green Paste stone set in a golden flower.
Paste is a heavy, transparent flint glass that simulates the fire and brilliance of gemstones. Green Pastes sparkle just like Emeralds and take expert craftsmanship to capture their beauty.
The earrings are fitted with long shepherd hook wires which have a slight solder mark on one of the adjoining earrings, this is minimal wear for earrings of this age.
All set in Pinchbeck and gilded in 18ct Yellow Gold.
