Created for the exhibition, , art directed by Claudia Palmira and her team at Rome Design Agency, the Francis scarf was created in honor of the artist's interaction with the beautiful ancient manuscripts of this exhibit.
The scarf expresses the complexity and depth found within the pages of the ancient books, many handwritten by the Franciscan monks. The show logo was created from the Franciscan "F" found in a precious manuscript, and was adapted into a modern form for the show's brand. This letter is repeated on the scarf design.
A deep, earthy red sets the tone of this piece, with textual manuscript excerpts decorating the background. The warm tones of the scarf are pulled from color schemes found across the manuscripts.
Crafted from 100% pure silk, this scarf allows you to immerse yourself in a luxurious artistic expression of history. Each scarf is an original work; a hand-painted replica from the artist’s studio. Discover a unique, wearable piece of art that combines the richness of history with light, pure silk.
